Using Consolidated Variables In Subsequent Calculations

Consolidated variables can be pushed into the primary quote file for further processing by using the Target Range field in the Multi-quote variables table.

 

The primary quote file is the quote file selected during multi-quote consolidation by the user as the primary site or option, generally the headquarters location, that will appear first in the outputs, including the schedules of equipment and services.

 

 

The Target Range is the name of the range that has been assigned (via Excel’s Name Box) to a cell in any tab of SDA. When multiple quote files are consolidated for output by a user, the consolidated value of the Source Variable will be pushed into the named range (defined by the Target Range field) in the primary quote file.

 

 

To consolidate the &TotalPrice& variable from each quote file into a range that has been named “MultiSiteSellPrice

 

 

 

Add a record to the Multi-quote variable table with the following values:

 

 

 

MultiSiteSellPrice range is referenced by formulas in the Lease Factor (which is calculated by looking up the MultiSiteSellPrice in a lease factor table) and Lease Payment cells.
