Speed is King

Looking to enhance their robust Tigerpaw functionality, streamline their proposal process, and reduce “scope creep,” Advantel turned to CorsPro and SalesDoc Architect (SDA) to consolidate their sales tools into one platform, eliminating the use in-house, homegrown tools that do not work together.  Now SDA allows Pricing Specialist, April Kanyogoro and her team to price client solutions, easily upload them into Tigerpaw, and generate customer-facing documents such as scopes of work, pricing proposals and non-disclosure agreements. Kanyogoro, notes that “speed is king” when it comes to providing these documents to customers, in particular their Federal customers.

With the use of an in-house API, Kanyogoro is able to work exclusively within the SDA tool, importing information directly from Tigerpaw’s contact module.  Whereas many SDA client end-users must start in Tigerpaw’s contact module and push contact information into SDA. This eliminates the need to switch between applications, thus saving time, and allowing Advantel to increase the scale of their business.

Always looking to increase efficiencies and speed up processes, Kanyogoro and her team use the Tigerpaw-SDA API to bring together more than just basic contact information.  For example, when starting in SDA, they are able to pull in maintenance agreement data and other important information into their SDA quotes.  Using the logic and macros they’ve built into SDA, Advantel can easily present their customers with valuable maintenance agreements based on the information included within the customer’s Tigerpaw file.  Gone are the days of switching between various applications.  As Kanyogoro puts it, “Having one place to do everything diminishes costly errors and saves an enormous amount of time.”

Once the quote is finished and the agreement is signed, all information is exported from SDA to a .CSV file using SDA’s built-in macro.  This .CSV file is then imported back into Tigerpaw, eliminating any re-keying errors.

Kanyogoro raves, “We are thrilled with SDA. Using SDA has been life-changing for what we do in the CPQ process.  Errors that once ate into our margin have been eliminated, and the turn-around time has sped up dramatically.  We look forward to doing more in SDA, as it has effectively supported our objectives and requirements and has helped our business really take off!”
