Changing Data in the Dashboard

Reassigning an Opportunity’s Owner

You can change the Opportunity Owner by taking the following steps:

1. Click on the Opportunity ID hyperlink
2. Click the drop-down next to the Owner field and choose another owner

Caution!:  Doing this may mean that you are no longer able to see the Opportunity, depending on your organization’s setup.

Reassigning a Quote

You can change the Opportunity that a Quote is associated to by taking the following steps:

1. Check the box out to the left of the Quote(s) you want to reassign
2. Go to Actions and choose Reassign Quote
3. Browse for the Opportunity you want to assign the Quote to
4. Click Reassign

Changing Opportunity Data

You can change the following Opportunity information directly within the Opportunities view grid by double-clicking on the appropriate cell:

• Opportunity Name
• Customer Name
• Close Date
• Owner
• Probability

You can also update the above information and more by clicking the Opportunity ID link, making your changes, and clicking the Save button.

Caution!:  This action cannot be undone after you hit Save.
